In 2013 my husband, Gary, my son, Davin, Josh Wiley, John Leslie and myself organized Washington Alliance for Life. I was the president until 2019.

When I was pregnant with my first son. My Obgyn doctor asked me if I wanted to hear my baby’s heartbeat. I remember thinking, “heart beat”. Doctors were lying in Washington state saying the baby did not have a heart and it was a mass of tissue at the same gestation my baby was then. Two doctors in 1970 were promoting abortion to make it legal. The accomplished this by the many interviews they did.

My son was a preemie that kept me up all the time and was born 6 weeks early. In 1978 after my first son was born, I listened to the Billy Graham Crusade on TV. I gave my life to Jesus Christ that night.  I later told my Lord after my second son’s birth in 1978 that someday I would serve Him in Pro-life. In 1986 I joined People’s Action Network and later Human Life of Pierce County. Helping people see the developing baby and get help resources is important to me. Also, helping women and men get counseling that were involved in or had an abortion and to see them set free is also rewarding.
